Truly Symbolic Of A Caliphate, Not Europe

PERHAPS IT SHOULD BE NOTED once again what a certain Muslim, a leader of present day Turkey, Recep Tayyip Edrogan has publicly proclaimed, "The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets, the believers our soldiers."

To borrow a riff from Bob Dylan and merge it with the old Saturday Night Live tagline, surely it doesn't take a weatherman to know that Turkey's not quite ready for prime time, or to be a good neighbor to the European community.

The prime minister has also been quoted as saying that the term "moderate Islam" is ugly and offensive—Islam is Islam. Speaking at Kanal D TV’s Arena program, PM Erdogan commented on the term “moderate Islam”, often used in the West to describe AKP and said, ‘These descriptions are very ugly, it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.”
