This article submitted by NY Post writerAmir Taheriis a must read for those who understand what America is facing with the double-talking imam as well as those who do not, and continue to equate this particularly planned Islamic project as just another mosque, or a harmless Amish prayer house.
American leadership needs to snap out of its self-professed stupor, this over-confident arm-sweeping fog thinking that it can rationalize and pacify Islam's core beliefs and structures simply because they themselves have little faith or knowledge in their own religious or national core being. But our Islamic enemies and their buddies rely on such ignorance and dhimmitude. It is, in fact, their bread and butter.
The United States of America certainly did not succumb to a self-defeating stupor when facing the iron cold fascist regimes of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. Our governments got right to work on embracing Sun Tzu's dictim:
"So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss. If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose. If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself."
Today, I'm afraid we as a nation are being unambiguously punished. Punished because our own citizenry and our own "homegrown" leadership have individually and collectively sinned against our own core beliefs, hardened by a culture of corruption and greed. This nation has lost its way, lost its faith, and lost its guiding light of generations past. Our pride of leadership has been tarnished by weakness and acceptance of the lies of many who say pleasing things into the ears of those they wish to subjugate, and this awful state of disarray in the corridors of American power, starting at the top and rippling through the system has now exposed our military and our civilian leadership as deaf, dumb, and blind to these lies. Far too many of us are willing to sacrifice this great nation for a few shekels. We in the We must awaken to the dangers we are facing with new resolve. Thirty pieces of silver anyone?
This article explains the subtle but devoted hierarchy of Islamic architecture. This totalitarian belief system called Islam leaves nothing to chance. We need to pray to the Almighty Himself that America soon enough repents and is filled with the strategic wisdom she needs before our beloved US falls like the boastful Goliath or at minimum, begins to look and feel more like a weary India, make weak by its own thousand year struggle against Islam. Even the Mahatma failed India.
IN ISLAM, EVERY STRUCTURE linked to the faith and its rituals has a precise function and character. A mosque is a one-story gallery built around an atrium with a mihrab (a niche pointing to Mecca) and one, or in the case of Shiites two, minarets.
Other Islamic structures, such as harams, zawiyyahs, husseinyiahs and takiyahs, also obey strict architectural rules. Yet the building used for spreading the faith is known as Dar al-Tabligh, or House of Proselytizing.
This 13-story multifunctional structure couldn't be any of the above.
The groups fighting for the project know this; this is why they sometimes call it an Islamic cultural center. But there is no such thing as an Islamic culture. Islam is a religion, not a culture. Each of the 57 Muslim-majority nations has its own distinct cultureand the Bengali culture has little in common with the Nigerian. Then, too, most of those countries have their own cultural offices in the US, especially in New York. Islam is an ingredient in dozens of cultures, not a culture on its own.
In fact, the proposed structure is known in Islamic history as a rabatliterally a connector. The first rabat appeared at the time of the Prophet.
A rabat in the heart of Manhattan would be of great symbolic value to those who want a high-profile, "in your face" projection of Islam in the infidel West.
This thirst for visibility is translated into increasingly provocative forms of hijab, notably the niqab (mask) and the burqa. The same quest mobilized hundreds of Muslims in Paris the other day to close a whole street so that they could have a Ramadan prayer in the middle of the rush hour.
One of those taking part in the demonstration told French radio that the aim was to "show we are here." "You used to be in our capitals for centuries," he said. "Now, it is our turn to be in the heart of your cities."
