THE VOTING HABITS OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC are hardly static, but stunningly dynamic. They must be won like territory in a hot war, but through persuasion—through explanation, argument, rhetoric, reason, the parsing of life itself sometimes. One must fight for ground; one must be bold; one must penetrate into hostile territory, awe the opposition, and seize what he holds dear. The one thing one should not and can not do effectively is to fight from a holding position. That is, and has been the anemic strategy of the GOP leadership for decades.

As Sun Tzu put it, “If the enemy leaves a door open, you must rush in.”

The constitutional side is far too busy trying to find ways to surrender. But it can not be that way; the once significant GOP of Ohio stalwart Robert Taft is philosophically distinct from the Obama/Alinsky nouveau socialists. We must give the America public a clear distinction between failed policies and wishful policies! Constitutional patriots and global Marxists and their sordid friends. And most of all, don’t be ashamed of who you are, because ultimately, that steadfastness, that personal command of the tough but honest truth, is what will meaningfully rally people to your side. Are not apples and oranges both fruits? Fruits hanging from a family of trees, fruits falling like perfect guests of planet earth when ready for the harvest?

NEED A FIGHTING CONTRAST between Romney and Obama? The next time someone says that battle ready Mitt Romney is the same as Barack H. Obama…

* Ask them to produce a list of mad terrorists foreign and domestic that squeaky clean Mitt Romney has befriended (and no, Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld don’t count, for rather obvious reasons).

If they can produce answers to all of those—we’ll procede to round 2. Having gotten that out of our system, we continue to shout, “We’re Impressed! Gingrich/West 2012!”

* Ask them to name an occasion where Mr. Romney has bowed to anyone in a foreign land as a Representative of the United States of America.

* Ask them to produce evidence that Mr. Barack H. Obama’s business experience even after four years in the White House is comparable to Romney’s.

* Ask them to produce proof that President Obama’s charitable contributions are as significant as Governor Romney’s.

* Ask them to name a radical anti-American Church or other religious establishment that Romney has attended for over 2 decades.

* Ask them to produce proof that Mitt Romney has illegally used cocaine and marijuana.

* Ask them to name an occasion that Mitt Romney criticized the proper actions of a police officer from high office.

* Ask them to name any associates of Mitt Romney that have been active practicing subversive members of the Communist Party.

* Ask them to produce the identities of any illegal alien Romney family member that he is protecting from deportation.

If they can produce answers to all of those—we’ll procede to round 2.

Meanwhile, all earnest political junkies worth their stars and bars should grab up a Tasty Granny or a Juicy Navel and head over to American Thinker for some of the best American political writing and short commentary on the Internet.

Having gotten that out of our system, we continue to shout, “We’re Impressed! Gingrich/West 2012!”

Four score and seven (or a few million years) ago—an idea of freedom took root in this American soil. Knowing life is crisis, punctuated by brief periods of solace, we also know that after all is said and done, we shall never cheat infinity, nor extinguish the mark of a single thought.

Oi! Oi! Oi!

THERE IS A REASON we do not develop our own energy resources…they are being held as collateral for our massive debts held by foreign countries. When we default you will see Chinese oils workers, miners, and other energy related workers showing up in the USA. They will live in separate autonomous communities apart from us, just like they are doing in Africa.

We are destined to be a resource of the Chinese with our population being irrelevant. In order to create a new world order, the largest pool of free thinking people has to be destroyed.

If you think me insane, look to Iraq. The Chinese are drilling for oil there, the USA is not. We have given them the oil as long as they give us loans. The government, Republicans and Democrats alike, have sold us out. Look on line to find the transcript of the speech given by Chinese General Chi Haotian to see the future the Chinese envision for us.

That’s an interesting take on things. But man, does it make me say ouch! I wonder how a President Palin, or a President Trump, God help us, might supercede this arrangement.

Piercing The Political Tick

Found this sharp stab at political consciousness at American Thinker in a few words posted by AWARE54397:

It won’t matter if gold and oil are pumped out of the ground in record quantities, there is no recovery, no “rebound”. The problem is the same as the Soviets, who despite huge natural resources and a willingness to exploit them much more ruthlessly than we, continued down the road of want, shortage, and economic oblivion. Our problem is political not economic. The political class runs the economy and it is that simple. The political tick is now bigger than the economic dog. Do you think any benefits derived from increased oil production won’t be siphoned off by the usual political bandits through the instrument of wealth destruction called government for the enrichment of the favored cronies?

Until the scope and power of government is severely curtailed no amount of wealth will change the worsening economic picture. With more government than we can afford the profit will always go to support it, not us.

Damn. I wish I had written those two paragraphs. Perhaps these also apply:

Mr. Obama is exactly what he has proclaimed he is many times over, and that is a “Citizen of the World”; a Globalist. A Globalist, who is familiar with and identifies more with Muslim culture than Judeo-Christian culture. Those people who refer to themselves as “Citizens of the World”, or as “Global Citizens” believe the United Nations should be the sole arbiter for every international solution (i.e. AGW). It is the United Nations Agenda 21 which we are seeing being implemented in this country in a gallop under this administration.

These Globalists are the new NAZI movement except that instead of being nationalists they are internationalists. It is an international socialist movement which embraces the same totalitarian goals which Islamofascists pursue. Both are theo-political belief systems and constructs.

The parallel is that the Globalists are the new NAZI Party and the Islamofascists are the new Italian Fascists from WWII. Guess who gets to play the new Jew? The Conservative Constitutionalists, and Judeo-Christians get the role of the European Jew of WWII.

UN To US, Frack Natural Gas Deposits Now

AS AMERICANS CONTINUE TO FRET the vacuous insanity of current US-Middle East energy policy, I have been among those writing and talking to anyone who can whistle Dixie about the untapped wealth America has packed beneath our feet and below our water tables in the form of shale gas.

The United States is the Saudi Arabia of natural gas, and boasts the four largest fields in the world. The Haynesville field in Louisiana (with production up by 77 per cent in 2009); the Fayetteville field in Arkansas and the Marcellus field in Pennsylvania (both with production up by 50 per cent); and the Barnett field in Texas and Oklahoma (with production up by double-digit increases).

These core centers of potent gas are trapped in shale rock that can be liberated via a process called hydraulic fractioning, more commonly called fracking. Wells are drilled several miles into the earth’s crust, greased by a stream of water, sand, and a minor amount of chemicals to fracture the rock and release the gas. All this happens far below the surface and the water tables. Natural gas is relatively clean-burning, is located on-shore, and is American energy wealth writ large.

Behold. Now we get a report from the United Nations, of all places, that asserts America can indeed be on the verge of energy independence and can become one of the world’s great exporters of energy because of these shale gas and oil reserves. Natural gas is the one commodity that has been plummeting in price and delivering an economic jolt of its own for consumers more accustomed to higher energy prices.

But why are we not rushing to pump this available gas? That’s where the news stops being news, and becomes the same old dog and pony show. In other words, where there’s a formidable US energy supply, there’s a yellow dog Democrat blocking the way.

Perhaps we should update the reference, and start calling these ridiculous “greenies” the green hornet Democrats, because they can’t help themselves but to stir up a lot of wicked buzz and stinging hot air with Speaker Pelosi most assuredly their queen.

A COMPANY IN NORWAY has invented a machine they call the OS-1 estimated to separate a million gallons of toxic oil and sea water a day. Does the Oil Swallow work as hyped? Will the President heed the call to send it into the Gulf? Will America be saved. Stay tuned. There’s no government mistake worse than overlooking the obvious…

Day 50 of this devastation hovers as we recall the haunting countdown during Iran hostage crisis of the Carter administration. Will the White House respond to the outreach, or continue to bumble through? Word is they are turning down help from foreign entities because of the Jones Act, but the truth is the Jones Act has been waived several times already, including by the Bush administration. This is absolutely NO RATIONAL POINT to limit our clean-up opportunities, only political points. Keep an eye on the fall-out in the coming days, weeks, and months. It won’t be pretty.
