Electromagnetic Pulse Over America

Dear Gabriel, Yesterday an op-ed by ACT! for America president Brigitte Gabriel, about the recent Gaza Flotilla incident, appeared in The Washington Times (see below). While much of the world raged at Israel's legal right to enforce the blockade of Gaza, Iran continued its headlong march toward acquiring nuclear weapons. We believe one of Iran's goals is to use nuclear weapons to initiate an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) attack on the U.S. We discussed this in several emails about a year ago. ONIGHT AT 6:00 EDT a program about the EMP threat, entitled "Electronic Armageddon," will air on the National Geographic...

Let 'Em Eat Upside Down Cake

“Surely something must be terribly wrong with a man who seems to be far more concerned with Jews building houses in Israel than with Muslims building a nuclear bomb in Iran.”—Burt Prelutsky E ARE TOLD NOT TO CAST ASPERSIONS. We are told not not to stereotype. We are told to criticize is commit a crime. We are told not to assign blame to all Muslims for the strife, hatred and violence their cousins from the "honest" branch of the family tree produce. Sounds fabulously fair, doesn't it? However we are also asked to collectively categorize ALL Tea party marchers as...

Religion Of Peace Flies Off the Handle Again

T'S NOT REALLY A MYSTERY, but I suppose it's time to trot out once more the dizzying fundamentals in this old discussion in the wake of the nation's most tragic jihad attack on American soil since September 11, eight years ago. Hear the excuses lobbed in like small stones wrapped in bullying threats—I'm sure he just misunderstands his religion. He's just a lone extremist. And what about the Christian right types who kill abortionists, and uh, did I mention the bloody Crusades? Who actually started them? What what they fighting for? Extra credit anyone? The murder and attempted murder of...

Reckoning The Rainbow President

ver get that sinking feeling that some people would rather spend their entire life chasing rainbows than accept the reality that a rainbow is merely an arc of colored light in the sky caused by refraction of the sun's rays by rain. There is no distinction to the rainbow whether this is caused by clean rain or polluted rain caused by a myriad of human and geological events. This immense, curved spectrum of light appears only when both the elements of sunshine and rainfall present. As the sunlight enters the falling raindrops, it breaks up into its true colors of...

Q & A Masking On A Summer Day

Someone named Willie questions with jarring simplicity: The Bellicose Augur? This all seems very alarmist. Countless men before you have made the same sort of statements about other immigrant groups and each time they have been wrong. What makes you so certain that you're right in this case? Other immigrant groups, unlike Islam, didn't and don't have a blueprint for militant supremacist expansionism made more dangerous by a trans-national sense of brotherhood and concrete ways to network internationally to facilitate plans to attack non-Muslims; nor do other immigrant groups have a totalitarian fanaticism expressed in myriad ways which all conduce...
