Will The Real Barack Obama Please Stand Down?

Obama Family
First Family
ANWAR AL-AWLAKI, the radical Imam who was killed by a drone attack in Yemen masterminded the Ft. Hood and Christmas day terror attacks, and it seems he also has something in common with our very own President Barack Obama.

Al-Awlaki, a U.S. born citizen while attending college, falsified information on applications, giving him grant monies to the tune of $20,000 a year for his education as a foreign student from Yemen. We now know Awlaki was born in New Mexico.

The U.S. Agency for International Development grants money for educational purposes to foreign students. Shall we speculate on how many other terrorists we’re spending tax dollars on helping them learn how we live, how we play, how we think, how we react, so they can kill us more effectively?

Taqiyya: which shall be called "dissimulation" which is use of word or actions tending to mislead one's opponents...
Our magnetic President Obama has sealed his college records from both Columbia and Harvard Universities? Why would he do that, many keep asking? What is he hiding? Bad grades, disciplinary actions, what? We also know both he and his wife have lost their rights to practice law in the State of Illinois, but the mystery remains as to precisely why this is the case. Perhaps the records are sealed because Obama may have received monies from this same U.S. Agency for his education. By releasing these records Obama would be showing the world how he financed his education, shining light on the problem.

Let’s remember, after many years of hard work becoming a Harvard educated lawyer he voluntarily gave up his license in the state of Illinois. There have been rumors floating around for years that he took this action to short circuit disciplinary action from the Illinois Bar for not listing the many aliases’ and social security numbers he’s used in the past. These aliases’ and false social security numbers could and would lead investigators to his fraudulent applications for grant monies thus forcing the Bar to disbar him. This is not unlike what happened to his wife Michelle (she was court ordered to give up her license to practice law in Illinois in 1993).

As the President’s popularity now dips into the lower 40’s, which is the lowest for any president at this time in a presidency, his mismanagement of just about everything that’s been placed in front of him, is leaving the American People questioning “What have we done?”

Is it possible we have thousands of Muslims who are and have taken this same fast track into main stream America, but to pay it back by attacking its very existence? Is President Obama’s lack of concern for the millions of unemployed just another terrorist attack by another lying Muslim who has no love but buckets of taqiyya for the country that lifted him up from poverty? Is President Obama’s lack of concern for the protection of the American people from his co-religionist terrorists the payback to America and the ultimate in stealth jihad for footing the bill of his high powered education? Bowing to the Saudi king...

Anders Breivik The Norwegian

Anders Breivik
Anders Breivik, Norwegian terrorist
AS QUIET NORWAY BEGINS TO bury its dead after a homegrown atrocity, the Leftist corporate media slips en masse into familiar gears spitted with gobs of war grease and irrational grievance once again...

The attacks on 22 July 2011 by Norwegian Anders Breivik, 32, were a shock to the nation. The mad man first bombed government buildings in Oslo, which resulted in eight deaths. He then carried out a mass shooting at a camp of the Workers' Youth League (AUF) of the Labour Party on the island of Utøya where he killed 69 people, mostly teenagers.

Breivik was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia by the court-appointed psychiatrists. According to their report, Breivik acted compulsively based on a delusional thought universe. Among other things, he alluded to himself as a future regent of Norway pending a takeover by a Templar-like organization. Imagining himself as regent, his ideas included organizing Norwegians in reservations and using them in breeding projects. Other psychiatrists disagree that he is psychotic or schizophrenic, and on 13 January 2012, after much public pressure, the Oslo district court ordered a second expert panel to evaluate Breivik's mental state...

Remember Pastor Terry Jones. Back then, our beloved media said that because the BAD BAD Pastor Jones burnt the Quran, Muslim innocents were spontaneously filled with the great spirit of righteous revenge and had no choice but to kill lying scheming Christians (or anybody else unfortunate enough to be caught in the path of their holy anger) found across Islam's pride of nations. This was lamentable but because they were "provoked" to lash out by the evil machinations of said pastor, the darling Left, from sea to shining sea, befitting the politically correct psychological mantra for the past generation or two, were only too pleased to announce that these irrational murderous outbursts by poor innocent Muslims were perfectly understandable and hardly mentionable.

Thanks goodness for rational thought...

Similarly, we should now expect our loving, intelligent, critically-prepared, and honest corporate media to proclaim the actions of Anders Breivik are to be squarely blamed on those hundreds of thousands of Muslim psychotics who have been noisy but thank goodness, bloody, vicious, and vile practitioners of global terrorism the past few decades or so.

But not so, read more carefully the tea leaves...

Locked into the moral relativistic matrix that passes for political reality these days, the paradigm of sticking firm to the preponderance of evidence is no longer likely, because coprporate media must at all times measure the moment against its agenda to upheave the entire social framework that only fifty years ago was understood by a greater portion of the planet to be the most humane and thriving system humanity had ever experienced.

Pastor Terry
Pastor Terry Jones
If Terry Jones burning the Qu'ran is reason enough for Muslim pledges to indulge their fetishes for ritual murder, then certainly the thousands of terrorist attacks against the West and elsewhere are more than enough reason for this Norwegian—who wrote extensively impuning all possible detractors, constructing an image of one who is only trying to protect his homeland from the invasion of a foreign enemy—to execute the horrific reign of terror he committed.

But of course, few among us can accept that tautology. Where would that take us? Tit for tat, eye for eye, and other laws of equivalency, have long been a persuasive but incindiary inducement to commit all sorts of awful, repugnant acts against God, Man, and Law.

The fact that the history of warfare is prefaced with just such rhetorical conclusions should not persuade us to thrown the baby into the bath, any more than we would throw the baby out with the bath water. And while we are not talking apples and oranges, we are still talking about fruit. Moral relativity is not to blame here. Suppression of ALL non-conforming thought is the problem, and it's a BIG problem.

Anders Breivik, whether we like all, some, or none of what he believed or not, had compiled more or less a political perspective, a manifesto, a creed, one man's point of view. Whether much of it was plagiarized and from whom misses the point, particularly since those with whom he is in disagreement, notably, the followers of Mohammed, are hardly the paragons of critical writing.

Despite the insulated rigors of politically correct, top down, either-or dichotomies that liberty embracing citizens once upon a time emphatically rejected as patently unsuited for the universal expression of a free people, an individual, even a condemned one, is entitled to have his or her position made known when under investigation by a free press. And isn't this what Breivik himself, in his own word, ultimately desired.

However, just as it perverts the privilege of truth in terms of Breivik by pronouncing him Evil Incarnate on one hand, and mentally deranged on the other by writing into his broad political portfolio associations which just don't exist, while condemning others whom corporate has dismissed as persona non grata who have little or nothing in common with his ideology, the media is unmasked as little more than a purveyor of snacks, small details, unconnected dots, blind alleys, annoying breaks in the action they require to keep the zoo animals fed. Zoo animals.

There are also tasteless witch-hunts going on in Sweden. Mostly against the Sweden Democrats and even against individual politicians from that party, one of the being Erik Hellsborn just for agreeing and explaining some points in ABB’s manifesto.
When corporate media systematically ignores not only the abhorrent acts of violence daily committed in the name of islam, it also ignores a genuine appraisal of the Islamic creed along with other self-organized rantings of the Muslim terrorists, and by doing so, it does its general readership a great disservice, and in fact is nothing more than the stifling of both free speech and the pertinent facts required for the free defense of liberty and justice in a nation at war with these ideologues and covertly, their host nations. Come clean, fight clean, we urge our leadership, whistling in and out of the halls of Montezuma and the shores of Tripoli.

By hearing all, we know more. More is bad, they say. Gotta keep the fascist trains running on time. And this is precisely why we are fed less, to know less, to work more, and to spend everything we've got so that we can be softened up by corporate media hacks and all its political and business cronies who know their fast-tracked Marx (concentrating all capital at the top) to better keep the zoo animals in check.

And the fact that Breivik gunned down native Norwegians, privileged children of the darling Left, not cold-blooded, Allahu Ackbar bellowing, run of the mill peace-loving Muslims, is hardly mentioned in this turf war for Breivik's eternal corpse. Does this choice of target, despite his explanations, make the Norwegian protagonist a coward, or somehow simply add to the confused mystique of this alleged racist?

There are also tasteless witch-hunts going on in Sweden. Mostly against the Sweden Democrats and even against individual politicians from that party, one of the being Erik Hellsborn just for agreeing and explaining some points in ABB’s manifesto. Everyone against islam is to be demonized now just because of ABB. It’s like blaming Paul McCartney for the Charles Manson murders just because he wrote Helter Skelter which happened to be one of Manson’s favourite songs at the time.—Robin Shadowes

Yep, corporate media and the switchbladed Lefties continue to trump up marginal Islamic victimhood while ignoring the full unadulterated political manifestos of both the Muslims and their equally doctrinaire detractors.

The unforgiving sin.

As We Awaken The Sleeping Giant

Vallely
Major General Paul E. Vallely, Ret.
MANY OF US WHO WERE ALIVE during World War II and slightly thereafter may remember the famous quote regarding America being the “sleeping giant.”

“Be fearful of waking her!” Do not wake a sleeping giant. This is an idiom which means: Do not disturb/annoy/provoke someone powerful who was not disturbing you in the first place. Japan woke a sleeping giant when they invaded Pearl Harbor.

Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto is portrayed at the very end of the 1970 film Tora! Tora! Tora! and in the 2001 film Pearl Harbor, as saying after his attack on Pearl Harbor [was quoted in the film], “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.” The quotation was abbreviated in the film Pearl Harbor (2001), where it merely read, “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant.”

Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto

Randall Wallace, the screenwriter of Pearl Harbor, readily admitted that he copied the line from Tora! Tora! Tora! The film’s producer, Elmo Williams, had found the line written in Yamamoto’s diary. Williams, in turn, has stated that Larry Forrester, the screenwriter, found a 1943 letter from Yamamoto to the Admiralty in Tokyo containing the quotation. However, Forrester cannot produce the letter, nor can anyone else, American or Japanese, recall or find it.

In The Reluctant Admiral, Hiroyuki Agawa, without a citation, does give a quotation from a reply by Admiral Yamamoto to Ogata Taketora on January 9, 1942, which is strikingly similar to the famous version:

“A military man can scarcely pride himself on having ‘smitten a sleeping enemy’; it is more a matter of shame, simply, for the one smitten. I would rather you made your appraisal after seeing what the enemy does, since it is certain that, angered and outraged, he will soon launch a determined counterattack.”

Yamamoto believed that Japan could not win a protracted war with the United States, and moreover seems to have believed that the Pearl Harbor attack had become a blunder—even though he was the person who came up with the idea of a surprise attack. The Reluctant Admiral relates that “Yamamoto alone”—while all his staff members were celebrating—spent the day after Pearl Harbor “sunk in apparent depression.” He is also known to have been upset by the bungling of the Foreign Ministry which led to the attack happening while the countries were technically at peace, thus making the incident an unprovoked sneak attack that would certainly enrage the enemy.

After the war, a similar rumor disseminated among occupation insiders that upon learning the attack had been a success, Admiral Yamamoto had said to those around him, “Gentlemen, we have just kicked a rabid dog.” This would have been a tactical metaphor and not intended as an insult, since he was generally fond of America and Americans.

Today we play politics to death. We talk amongst ourselves and the politicians talk and talk in Washington. While I know rational thinking may ultimately rule, rational thinking without emotion ignores the passion that lights the fire of definitive action; and now is the time for definitive action.
Similar to the above quotation was another that, while real, was widely misinterpreted in the US press. Yamamoto, when once asked his opinion on the war, pessimistically said that the only way for Japan to win the war was to dictate terms to the White House, requiring them to eventually invade the United States and march across the country while fighting their way to Washington—i.e., Japan would have to conquer the whole of the United States. Yamamoto’s meaning was that military victory, in a protracted war against an opponent with as much of a population and industrial advantage as the United States possessed, was completely impossible—a rebuff to those who thought that winning a major battle against the US Navy would end the war. However, in the US, his words were recast as a jingoistic boast.

In a recent discussion with friends, we explored the issue of whether the United States is a “Sleeping Giant” any more, and if it is, what percentage of the population would constitute that “sleeping giant?”

Best estimates indicated that maybe 10-15% of America now would be considered the “sleeping giant” and the remainder of population is unaware of the serious threats to the United States, or are truly asleep at the “switch” and clueless to our continuing demise and weakening as a people and country.

Mohammad
Mohammad In Arabic
I listen to the unfolding, ever more negative news each and every morning and the continuing ineptness so clearly on display by our elected and appointed leaders. At once, while struck with horror, I now feel strangely disconnected from the passions it stirs in me. I walk the river near my home with my dog into the sunshine of Montana and I want, and expect something to be occurring in this country that will awake America today. Even here in the beautiful and rugged mountains of western Montana people are hiking, golfing, strolling, smiling and acting as if nothing of any momentous consequence is occurring in or outside the United States. Our belief in our safety and security is being shattered, yet strangely, people seem to continue as if there is nothing to worry about too deeply.

There are so many more threats and risks to our families today then before 9/11 and thousands upon thousands of Americans have been killed across the globe since. While walking my dog, I look at the faces of people with these thoughts in mind, and I see people who look strangely blank or “normal.” But this is not normal. This is acting normal in the face of insanity. Therefore, I cannot remain calm, I must act.

I find myself thinking about World War II and the refusal of the United States to aid the millions of people being killed by the Nazis. The safety of our American sanctuary was shattered by Pearl Harbor and we woke up. Denial was no longer an option, and isolationism was no longer the rule of the day. Today we play politics to death. We talk amongst ourselves and the politicians talk and talk in Washington. While I know rational thinking may ultimately rule, rational thinking without emotion ignores the passion that lights the fire of definitive action; and now is the time for definitive action.

Personally, I do not believe in turning the other cheek. Yet, I do not want to become what I so despise—a fanatic driven by virulence and hatred as to do violence. I do not sanction any kind of fanaticism, because fanaticism feeds on itself and is driven by blind emotion. It demands unquestioning obedience and intolerance, rather than acceptance of diverse and genuine viewpoints. However, I do not believe in passivity either. Nothing goes away until you are willing to take a stand that says: “you may not cross this line because if you do, this will be the consequence.” Well, I am convinced that this line has been crossed. You hurt my people, you hurt my country – you hurt me.

I do not excuse dishonesty, corruptness, and behavior by members of Congress and the White House. Behavior counts, character counts! If a child of mine is threatened, I become a lion. If my people are threatened I feel a personal sense of violation that I need to react to in much the same way. If my country is threatened, my patriotism soars to its highest level, and my blood boils. Punishment for this transgression of my person and my country’s boundaries and way-of-life is essential; it is in my opinion, mandatory as a citizen. Instead of our current dissolution and chaos, we must reunite and roar like the lion we are, the father who is reacting to a wrong done to his child.

Enough politicking and talk

Action and retaliation are crucial. We have been so afraid to be the lion, afraid to be seen as the bad guy, that we have NOT drawn the line in the sand and said: “you may not cross this line or these are the consequences.” To take a stand is not being the bad guy. It is quite the opposite, it is to be lauded; taking a stand with very clearly defined consequences is being responsible. We need to do more than simply reacting, we need to be pro-active.

I believe we must reclaim our status as courageous warriors, as outraged fighters, as the parents of the child that has been set upon, and say to those that have crossed the line and caused us pain: “there will be reprisal and punishment.”
I want to see our people; our fellow citizens do just that, not just as a reaction to the current economic and security threats, but on a continual basis. It’s the equivalent of being a parent who is afraid of being firm and setting boundaries, letting their child run out of control for fear we may be thought the ogre, and then reacts only situation by situation, each time confirming softness instead of resolve. That parent needs to step back, size up the situation and say this is what MUST be done now, so we do not have to face it again.

The response must be reprisal and punishment, in a manner that is civil, yet unmistakable in message, it has to go far enough to forestall similar activity in the future. We must change our political philosophy, awaken from our lethargy, erase our apathy and above all, we must abide by our well designed Constitution.

Similarly, it must be conveyed that it is folly and foolish for other countries to confuse our softness and courtesy with weakness. However, we ARE, more than ever, a soft country. Politically, we make so many mistakes; most in the name of misguided politics, foreign perceptions ill-understood, and isolationism. We do not speak out strongly enough about abuses to people in so many other countries, and the blatant evil that exists.

To confuse our softness with weakness is beyond STUPID, it is perilous and self-defeating, and you cannot fix STUPID with politicians who think and act as they do here at home today. When this country is threatened, when our allies face any external threat, we can be very dangerous, and our enemies need to understand this with clarity and utter fear. At home, concerning our internal problems and our outward projection, we, as a unified country, must change that perception for our country’s safety. We must act now, decisively.

I believe we must reclaim our status as courageous warriors, as outraged fighters, as the parents of the child that has been set upon, and say to those that have crossed the line and caused us pain: “there will be reprisal and punishment.”

In our American Exceptionalism, one borne of varied and mixed cultures, peoples with differing origins, of diverse religious affiliations; putting aside our petty differences which keep our combined culture fragmented, is crucial. I am one of those “Sleeping Giants” that has been awakened and want you to be awakened, and join me as a “Sleeping Giant” freshly awoken, a giant no longer asleep that sees the light of day before it is too late and is willing to ACT.

Please America...

Breaking the Numbers Down

More troublesome data on the multiculturalist front, Islamo-style.

Muslim Child Sex Trafficking Rings Busted Across United States

MOST US MUSLIMS (65%) are first-generation immigrants. But more than a third (35%) were born in the United States. One-fifth (21%) of the native-born (or 7% of all Muslims in this country) are second generation, with one or both parents having been born outside of the U.S. The nearly two-thirds who were born outside of the United States come from at least 68 different nations, with no single nation accounting for more than 12% of the immigrants. More than a third (37%) of all foreign-born Muslim Americans arrived from the Arab region, including Arabic-speaking countries in the Middle East and North Africa. An additional 27% emigrated from the South Asian region, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

Another 8% come from European countries and 6% from other parts of Africa. In terms of specific countries, 12% of foreign-born Muslims arrived from Pakistan, and the same proportion from Iran. No more than 7% of first-generation immigrants were born in any other single country. A majority of the foreign-born arrived in the U.S. in the 1990s (33%) or in this decade (28%). An additional 23% came during the 1980s, while just 16% came earlier than that.

But while the Islamic numbers, with what we know about radical Islam, raise brows to certain dangers that we have already experienced, and have been experienced worldwide, other populations are also immigrating with less than a fair start in a new country. On the heels of a major human-trafficking bust in rural South Dakota, we are assured that this is not an isolated case.

Human trafficking generates billions of dollars each year in illicit profits, in the United States and globally, through the entrapment and exploitation of millions of people, mostly women and children. The growing illegal trade in human beings for sex or forced labor isn’t limited to either rural outposts or the world’s largest cities.

Young women have been forced into prostitution over the past year through deception, fraud, coercion, threats and physical violence in Denton County, Texas; rural Tennessee; St. Paul, Minn.; Norcross, Ga.; Memphis, Tenn.; Fremont, Calif.; Harrisburg, Pa.; New York City; Los Angeles; Honolulu; Woodbridge, Va.; Gaithersburg; Annapolis; and many other cities.

Just last week, a 36-year-old Mexican national was sentenced to 40 years in prison by a federal judge in Georgia on charges that he tricked girls into leaving their families in Mexico, beat them and forced them into more than 20 acts of prostitution a night in Atlanta. The man had promised to get them jobs in restaurants. Five co-defendants previously pleaded guilty in the case.

Tincrease of heinous criminality is allowed to occur during a period of extreme relaxation, if not outright abandonment of common sense regulation of America's four borders and the visitors and newcomers within it. Let's face it, the gross liberalization of nearly the whole cloth of Uncle Sam's institutional character with its soulful neglect and misguided snubbing of societal norms has enjoyed a formidable run in the US and the West, but is now cracking at every appeal to reveal its true mettle. Chaos and decay. Savage and insincere.

It doesn't take a weatherman to chart the fear or frame the first shot of the coming national crisis, a crisis where all the pleasing familiar ways will breakdown and a much more difficult set of challenges to our cultural and personal pursuits of happiness appears unavoidable, although there are many who are busy giving us this version or that one.

A clampdown on the anarchy America is allowing to fester is surely coming our way if we continue to allow this outrage to continue only neglibly checked. Our collective consciousness demands it, trapped as we are in mad strategic cells of cloaked hatred and empirical division, false renumeration and calculated loathesomeness, and while we strongly urge as did the prophet of old that we must refrain from being the originator of this primal fury, on some sad field of unintended glory we shall soon find ourselves reaping what we have sown in our short times of corrupt generation upon corrupt generation.

In Numbers Dwell Certain Repugnant Effects

Islam The Unfaithful
Islam The Unfaithful

In numbers dwell certain repugnant effects. Around the globe fierce Islamic agitation in the public sphere is on the rise:

1/29/07 Daily Telegraph UK: 40% of Muslims, ages 16 to 24, want Sharia law; 13% admire al-Qaeda; 36% believe apostates should be executed; 75% believe that women should wear veils.
5/22/07 Reuters: 25% of young American Muslims believe in suicide bombings to fight the West.
7/10/07 worldpress.org: Poll of Muslims in Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan and Indonesia indicates that 75% believe in strict application of Sharia law.
7/27/08 Sunday Times UK: 33% of Muslim students support killing for islam; 33% want world Islamic law.
12/5/10 LA Times: A new Pew Research Center poll shows that majorities in Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan and Nigeria would favor changing the current laws to allow stoning as a punishment for adultery, hand amputation for theft and death for those who convert from Islam to another religion.

We can't wait long to deal with them:

2/09 The Finnish Ministry of Defense published a position paper stating: In 1991 there were approximately 300 mosques in Russia; today there are 8,000, financed by Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia.
1/30/09 Times UK: Muslim population multiplied 10 times faster than the rest of society.
7/10/10 Sunday Times, UK: Islamic law has been officially adopted in Britain, with Sharia courts given powers to rule on Muslim civil cases.
10/28/10 Daily Mail: In 2009 Mohamed (or variations of that name) was the most popular name for newborn boys in the UK.
1/26/11 Pew Research Poll: Globally, the Muslim population is forecast to grow at about twice the rate of the non-Muslim population over the next two decades—an average annual growth rate of 1.5% for Muslims, compared with 0.7% for non-Muslims. If current trends continue, Muslims will make up 26.4% of the world's total projected population of 8.3 billion in 2030, up from 23.4% of the estimated 2010 world population of 6.9 billion.

Major Hasan Was Designated A Star Officer

We owe a debt of thanks to the Senate Homeland Security Committee for its report on the Ft. Hood jihadist massacre titled "A Ticking Time Bomb." The Wall Street Journal column below provides a compelling insight into what the Senate committee found.

Over the past three years, we have put out numerous emails highly critical of political correctness, noting that PC can be annoying and even exasperating, but that when it comes to the threat of radical Islam, it can be deadly. Just as it was at Ft. Hood. Yet, every branch of the military issued a final report on the Fort Hood massacre. Not a single one mentioned radical Islam.

By Dorothy Rabinowitz

Major_Nidal_Malik_Hasan1
Self-Proclaimed Jihadist

IN A MONTH OF MOMENTOUS CHANGE, it was easy to overlook the significance of another revolutionary event. Who would have believed that in the space of a few weeks the leaders of the three major European powers would publicly denounce multiculturalism and declare, in so many words, that it was a proven disaster and a threat to society?

One after another they announced their findings—Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel, Great Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron, and France's President Nicolas Sarkozy. Multicultural values had not only led to segregated communities: They had, Mr. Cameron noted, imposed policies of blind toleration that had helped nurture radical Islam's terrorist cells.

There can be no underestimating the in-so-many-words aspect of these renunciations. This was multiculturalism they were talking about—official established religion of the universities, the faith whose requirements have shaped every aspect of cultural, economic and political life in Western democracies for the last 50 years. Still, they were out there—words coolly specific, their target clear.

They came at a fitting moment, just as Americans had been handed a report providing the fullest disclosures so far about the multiculturalist zeal that had driven Army and medical school superiors to smooth Nidal Malik Hasan's rocky way through training, promote him, and, despite blatant evidence of his unfitness, raise not a single concern. Maj. Hasan, U.S. Army psychiatrist, would be assigned to Fort Hood where, in November 2009, he opened fire, killing 12 fellow soldiers and a civilian employee, and wounding 32 others.

In this report, titled "A Ticking Time Bomb" and put out by the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, there is a detail as dazzling in its bleak way as all the glowing misrepresentations of Dr. Hasan's skills and character, which his superiors poured into their evaluations of him. It concerns the Department of Defense's official report on the Fort Hood killings—a study whose recital of fact made no mention of Hasan's well-documented jihadist sympathies. Subsequent DoD memoranda portray the bloodbath—which began with Hasan shouting "Allahu Akbar!"—as a kind of undefined extremism, something on the order, perhaps, of work-place violence.

This avoidance of specifics was apparently contagious—or, more precisely, policy. In November 2010, each branch of the military issued a final report on the Fort Hood shooting. Not one mentioned the perpetrator's ties to radical Islam. Even today, "A Ticking Time Bomb," co-authored by Sen. Joe Lieberman (I., Conn.) and Susan Collins (R., Maine), reminds us that DoD still hasn't specifically named the threat represented by the Fort Hood attack—a signal to the entire Defense bureaucracy that the subject is taboo.

In magical thinking, safety and good come to those who obey taboos, and in the multiculturalist world, there is no taboo more powerful than the one that forbids acknowledgment of realities not in keeping with the progressive vision. In the world of the politically correct—which can apparently include places where psychiatrists are taugh—magical thinking reigns.

For the superiors in charge of Hasan's training at Walter Reed and his two years at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, the taboo was of a more complicated order—one that required elaborately inventive analyses through which Hasan's stated beliefs, ominous pronouncements, and evident unconcern with standards of behavior required of an officer could all be represented as singular virtues, proof of his exceptional value to the Army. It could not have been easy. Still, they managed.

They did so despite Hasan's astounding trail of performances, each more telling than the next. To fulfill Walter Reed's academic requirement for a presentation on a psychiatric theme, Hasan proffered a draft consisting almost entirely of wisdom from the Quran arguing for the painful punishment and liquidation of non-Muslims. Hasan evidently viewed the Qur'anic verses as a sufficient presentation—a view his superior didn't share, given its lack of any mention of a psychiatric theme. When that guide warned him the presentation was "not scholarly" and might prevent his graduation, Hasan revised. The finished product was not much different. Still, Hasan was allowed to graduate.

He went on to his medical fellowship, where he soon delivered another class lecture, this one on the Islamist theme that the West, in particular the U.S. military, had mounted a war on Islam. The presentation brimmed with views sympathetic to Osama bin Laden, the motives of the 9/11 perpetrators, and suicide bombers. It so infuriated his classmates that their outraged eruptions caused the instructor to end the presentation.

There would be more of the same to come. One classmate witness told investigators that Hasan sought every possible opportunity to share his radical Islamist sympathies. His highest obligation, he told classmates, wasn't to the Constitution, which he had sworn to protect and defend, but to his religion.

His Islamist sympathies would attract the interest of the FBI, which soon picked up on this U.S. Army major's contacts with a terrorist suspect, unnamed in the Senate report. The agency would, however, have no continuing great interest in Hasan. Among other reasons, its agents had seen the impressive evaluation reports characterizing Hasan as an authority on Islam—one whose work even had "extraordinary potential to inform national policy and military strategy," as one of his superiors put it in his officer evaluation report.

The same Hasan who set off silent alarms in his supervisors—the Psychiatric Residency Program Director at Walter Reed was one of them—would garner only plaudits in the official written evaluations at the time. He was commended in these as a "star officer," one focused on "illuminating the role of culture and Islamic faith within the Global War on Terrorism." One supervisor testified, "His unique interests have captured the interest and attention of peers and mentors alike." No single word of criticism or doubt about Hasan ever made its way into any of his evaluations.

Some of those enthusiastic testaments strongly suggested that the writers were themselves at least partly persuaded of their reasoning. In magical thinking, safety and good come to those who obey taboos, and in the multiculturalist world, there is no taboo more powerful than the one that forbids acknowledgment of realities not in keeping with the progressive vision. In the world of the politically correct—which can apparently include places where psychiatrists are taught—magical thinking reigns.

A resident who didn't represent the diversity value that Hasan did as a Muslim would have faced serious consequences had he behaved half as disturbingly. Here was a world in which Hasan was untouchable, in which all that was grim and disturbing in him was transformed. He was a consistently mediocre performer, ranking in the lowest 25% of his class, but to his evaluators, he was an officer of unique talents.

He was a star not simply because he was a Muslim, but because he was a special kind—the sort who posed, in his flaunting of jihadist sympathies, the most extreme test of liberal toleration. Exactly the kind the progressive heart finds irresistible. A decision as to whether Maj. Hasan will go to trial—it would be before a military court-martial—should be forthcoming next month. He stands charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder, committed when he turned his laser-equipped semi-automatic on members of the military at the Soldier Readiness Center. The likelihood is that the trial will go forward. If it does, the forces of multiculturalist piety, which played so central a role in advancing this Army major and concealing the menace he posed, will be the invisible presence on trial with him.

American Stupid
American Stupid

If the 200 year experiment in precious liberty, freedom, and constitutional republicanism collapses, it will be the fault of those who are known as white people. This has always been so, since before the creation of the country itself. White people of European origin settled this country, built its original states, and carried out its westward expansion. The construction of the greatest nation ever to appear on planet earth is due to white people. Yet today, we see that there are many self-loathing white people who align themselves with the destructive gaggle of America haters and enemies of freedom that gravitate toward the Jackass Party. Even in "red" areas where Republicans won, the numbers were not overwhelming. Usually, the Republican prevailed by a good deal less than 10% over the Jackass candidate. This does not bode well for the future of our country. In another generation or two the United States as we know it will cease to exist. The signs are already ubiquitous. And it will be the result of the voting patterns of white people, regardless of what the minority community does. If white people voted for Republicans the way that black people vote for Jackasses, then we would not now be in our current crisis. This is not a racial statement; it is just a fact.
